The Best of Cards Against Humanity: It’s kind of like the extremely offensive version of Apples to Apples.
I played it for the first time this evening with my friends and here were the best ones. (They aren’t meant to be taken seriously, of course!)

i hope when he sees this post, andy is further convinced that we need to own cards against humanity when we’re married.
If I had to use just a single word to describe how Andy is with me, it would have to be patient. (There are a lot of things I could pick for the one word, but patience is something that has been present in him from the beginning and that still plays a much appreciated role in the functioning of our relationship.)
maybe i’m blinded by love. maybe. but i think i just see him as he really is.
i am… deeply and unshakably grateful that God put us together and that i am the woman who has been given the profound pleasure of marrying andy. at my core i am certain of him. of us. of us together with our sights set on pleasing, serving, and loving the Lord with all we have.
i have been given a beautiful love story. i see it written in andy’s eyes, i hear it in his words. he tells me the story piece by piece, action by action. i refuse to take such a beautiful and fulfilling story for granted. the Author has my undivided attention. i’m eager to turn the page.
Well, tumblr, I’ve been away for awhile. Lots of things have been happening. The most joyful of these things is that the love of my life and I are engaged! Andy asked me to marry him on December 3rd while we were at the Columbus Zoo Wildlights… in the polar bear exhibit. (The man knows what he’s doing.) The ring he chose for me (by himself!) is the most stunning thing I’ve ever seen. It’s simple, but not typical, and the side detail is beautiful. It needs resized, but I love it too much to part with it for a week! Haha. ALSO! We decided on a date. August 3rd, 2013. What a great day that will be! I think of it often.
The second thing that’s happened: I was offered, and subsequently accepted, a promotion at work. I’ve had a few days of training and it’s freaking so stressful. Thankfully I’m being trained by super patient people, and I felt like I was catching onto things better last night. We’ll see how this goes!
Andy took this picture when we were at Rising Park in Lancaster a few weeks ago. I loved this day. :) He brings the happiness out in me.
